REAL LIFE — A sign from heaven?

Anyone familiar with the life story of Philipp Mickenbecker († 09.06.2021) knows that he wished for auroras on his trip to Iceland. Locals said that it was very unlikely at this time of year. But Philip asked God to send him auroras as a sign that he heard him. And suddenly, auroras appeared unexpectedly.

Philip interpreted the sign as confirmation that God would heal him. Although he lived so long despite his cancer, he died. And the legitimate question is: was it just a coincidence or a sign from God? But on the day of the world premiere (18.09.23) of “Real life” of all days, auroras could be seen over Germany.

I was very touched when I heard about it. I see it as God’s loving confirmation that he really showed Philipp through the auroras that he was there. I see the fact that the auroras were visible at the premiere of all times as a loving sign from God, which can perhaps be interpreted in this way: “Even if it turned out differently than Philipp had hoped: I was always there. — God”. I cannot understand Philip’s death, but I recognize that God has touched millions of people through Philip’s life and death and wants to invite them to get to know him personally and experience his love, which goes beyond death. Jesus promises: “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even if he dies” (The Bible: John 11 verse 25). Jesus is just a prayer away.
