And the spe\u00adcial thing is that she does this <strong>wit\u00adhout any\u00adthing in return<\/strong>. Even if they are not loved back. Is that pos\u00adsi\u00adble? That seems pret\u00adty unrea\u00adli\u00adstic. Of cour\u00adse, many peo\u00adp\u00adle talk about it and pro\u00admi\u00adse you the blue sky. But when it real\u00adly comes down to it? When it gets real\u00adly serious? Are you faced with the choice of saving your own life or that of the other per\u00adson (who may not even like you)? I real\u00adly got to know this per\u00adson and expe\u00adri\u00aden\u00adced that he real\u00adly meant it: His name is Jesus.         May\u00adbe you\u2019\u00adve alre\u00ada\u00addy heard of him. May\u00adbe you had an idea of him or wro\u00adte him off as a nice guy from the day befo\u00adre yes\u00adter\u00adday. But may I invi\u00adte you to get to know him again wit\u00adhout reser\u00adva\u00adtions? Of cour\u00adse, it makes a huge dif\u00adfe\u00adrence whe\u00adther you only hear a few things about him or get to know him per\u00adso\u00adnal\u00adly. But more on that later. First of all, here are a few points about why I think he real\u00adly is \u201clove per\u00adso\u00adni\u00adfied\u201d:  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>He ful\u00adfil\u00adled his own pro\u00admi\u00adse by <strong>sacri\u00adfi\u00adci\u00adng<\/strong> his <strong>life for us humans<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>he still stands by his many <strong>pro\u00admi\u00adses<\/strong> today<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He always has an <strong>open ear<\/strong> and <strong>ans\u00adwers<\/strong> our pray\u00aders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He does\u00adn\u2019t turn his back on us even when we do.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>1. he ful\u00adfil\u00adled his own pro\u00admi\u00adse and sacri\u00adfi\u00adced his life for us humans.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>It was not unex\u00adpec\u00adted for him. He was not the vic\u00adtim of a <g id=\"gid_0\">con\u00adspi\u00adra\u00adcy <\/g>or the <g id=\"gid_1\">ide\u00adals<\/g> he pre\u00ada\u00adched. <g id=\"gid_2\">He<\/g> deli\u00adbera\u00adte\u00adly <g id=\"gid_2\">sacri\u00adfi\u00adced his life<\/g> for you and me. But why? Becau\u00adse it was the only way we could have a rela\u00adti\u00adonship with God, our Crea\u00adtor, again. But why was this so important to him? Why on earth would we need a <g id=\"gid_3\">rela\u00adti\u00adonship<\/g> with God? (quite apart from the ques\u00adti\u00adon of whe\u00adther he exists at all. You can find out more about this here) Becau\u00adse we humans live in a world that has renoun\u00adced God. We humans have con\u00adscious\u00adly or uncon\u00adscious\u00adly tur\u00adned our backs on him. And we see the <g id=\"gid_4\">effects of<\/g> this in the news, around us and, if we are honest, in our\u00adsel\u00adves: Sel\u00adfi\u00adsh\u00adness, stri\u00adfe, bad thoughts, bro\u00adken rela\u00adti\u00adonships, inju\u00ads\u00adti\u00adce and explo\u00adita\u00adti\u00adon of peo\u00adp\u00adle as well as sick\u00adness and death. With all this bag\u00adga\u00adge, we can never come clo\u00adse to God. We could not bear his puri\u00adty. Here in this life and in our eter\u00adnal life after death. The <g id=\"gid_5\">con\u00adse\u00adquence <\/g>would be eter\u00adnal sepa\u00adra\u00adti\u00adon from our Crea\u00adtor. The worst thing about it would be that we would have to spend our eter\u00adni\u00adty wit\u00adhout God, which would be even worse than \u201chell on earth\u201d, as the\u00adre would be <g id=\"gid_6\">no spark of hope<\/g>, no joy and no way back. But it is pre\u00adcis\u00ade\u00adly from this \u201ceter\u00adnal death\u201d that Jesus wan\u00adted to save us humans. When he died on the cross, he allo\u00adwed hims\u00adelf to be punis\u00adhed for our wrong deeds and thoughts and lite\u00adral\u00adly took them upon hims\u00adelf. That is why ever\u00adyo\u00adne who brings their dung to him and unloads it on him can expe\u00adri\u00adence com\u00adple\u00adte for\u00adgi\u00adve\u00adness and a <g id=\"gid_7\">new begin\u00adning<\/g> with God. This libe\u00adra\u00adtes and God\u2019s for\u00adgi\u00adve\u00adness appli\u00ades from this moment onwards for all eter\u00adni\u00adty. This cle\u00adars the way for us to come clo\u00adse to God again and con\u00adscious\u00adly allow him to reign in our lives. When I exten\u00added this invi\u00adta\u00adti\u00adon to Jesus, I was fil\u00adled with a real joy and a deep peace. From that moment on, I knew that Jesus was real\u00adly the\u00adre and has been wal\u00adking through life with me ever sin\u00adce. This has prac\u00adti\u00adcal impli\u00adca\u00adti\u00adons.                      <\/p>\n\n<p>But how can someone who has alre\u00ada\u00addy died come into our lives? Good ques\u00adti\u00adon.  Becau\u00adse he did not remain in the gra\u00adve, but rose from the dead after three days. That sounds pret\u00adty incre\u00addi\u00adble. \u201cIs the\u00adre any pro\u00adof of this?\u201d you are pro\u00adba\u00adb\u00adly asking. The resur\u00adrec\u00adtion of Jesus is sup\u00adport\u00aded by many his\u00adto\u00adri\u00adcal sources. The for\u00admer athe\u00adist and Bible cri\u00adtic Josh McDo\u00adwell wan\u00adted to pro\u00adve with his rese\u00adarch on the ques\u00adti\u00adon of the resur\u00adrec\u00adtion that Jesus could not have risen and that the Bible could not be true. The Bible: John 16 ver\u00adse 33). A <g id=\"gid_0\">super\u00adna\u00adtu\u00adral peace<\/g>, so to speak, that is inde\u00adpen\u00addent of exter\u00adnal cir\u00adcum\u00ads\u00adtances. Even when the storm rages around you or the chal\u00adlenges of life threa\u00adten to over\u00adwhelm you.   He gives this peace to tho\u00adse who seek his clo\u00adsen\u00adess. Some\u00adti\u00admes we first have to give him our worries and fears so that this peace can be felt. But if we allow him to free us from our worries, the <strong>inner peace<\/strong> that comes with <strong>his pre\u00adsence<\/strong> returns.<br><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>3. he always has an open ear and ans\u00adwers our pray\u00aders.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>He is serious about his pro\u00admi\u00adse that we can come to him when we are suf\u00adfe\u00adring under the bur\u00adden of ever\u00ady\u00adday life. He is the\u00adre and <strong>lis\u00adtens<\/strong>, even if we can\u2019t see him. We can talk to him howe\u00adver we like and also about wha\u00adt\u2019s on our minds. He alre\u00ada\u00addy knows any\u00adway. Becau\u00adse he knows us through and through and is hap\u00adpy when we come to him with our con\u00adcerns. And <strong>he ans\u00adwers<\/strong>. Not always in the way we would wish or expect. But he often sur\u00adpri\u00adses us with his ans\u00adwers and shows us a much <strong>broa\u00adder per\u00adspec\u00adti\u00adve<\/strong>. Along the lines of \u201cpray\u00ader coin in, che\u00adwing gum out\u201d. He does not allow hims\u00adelf to be locked into our often one-sided view of things. But he shows us <strong>new hori\u00adzons<\/strong> and tho\u00adse who trust him will not be dis\u00adap\u00adpoin\u00adted.<br><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>4. he does not turn his back on us even when we do.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>If he did that, he would have writ\u00adten off the world long ago.
